Katrina was my nutritionist and she was absolutely amazing. I learned so much from her in the 1 hour sessions we had. She shared great information for me specifically, made suggestions and was a great listener. I would recommend this service to anyone wanting to just learn about your body and what spikes your insulin...that's why I did it!! I am not a diabetic and workout 5-6 days/week... I was just curious on what foods are best for me and how to increase my energy levels with food being a 50 year old woman with hormonal changes happening all the time. The app was very user friendly and customer service was very responsive. I even had to cut my 6mth subscription short by 2 mths and they were totally cool and made it easy.

Karen is an excellent nutritionist and coach! She has a lot of knowledge and knows what is most important to me in my search for overall wellness! I look forward to my counseling sessions with her. She's great at suggesting new things and giving me tools to be successful. I also love being able to see my data real time with my glucose sensor. It's really helping me make the right decisions.

I have lost a total of 30 pounds in the past 3 months. I have learned a lot of what foods my body needs and reacts well to. I have a video call once a month with Katie. She is very helpful with suggestions, menus ideas, and explains anything I don't understand. The system is very easy to use.

I recently participated in a video consult with Andrew. I was skeptical at first, and honestly not 100% happy with additional fees. I am so glad I went for it. Andrew was incredibly helpful at taking my data and making it manageable. I feel much more in control now that I know what to focus on. I fully appreciate the individualized approach.

If you're eligible for insurance-covered calls, you can get a minimum of three and up to unlimited in-network calls depending on your insurance carrier and plan.

To cancel a video call, members can find the reschedule or cancel link in the appointment details email. Cancellations made 24 hours before the appointment are free, but any cancellations within 24 hours will incur a $75 fee. Regardless of coverage, insurance will not cover or reimburse this cancellation fee.

To reschedule a call, members should message their nutritionist in the Nutrisense app. Non-members may reach out to Nutrisense support for all cancellation and rescheduling concerns.

What can I expect from the initial video call consultation?
A curved arrow facing bottom

During your first video call, you'll dive deep into your unique health profile. You can expect your nutritionist to ask about challenges or barriers you face, your stress levels, sleep patterns, daily habits, and even what your weekends look like. We’ll also talk about the types of food you enjoy or dislike and review your health and family history. This session is about getting a comprehensive picture of your lifestyle so we can provide truly personalized support.

We’ll also set clear, achievable goals – both short and long-term. Your personal nutritionist will work with you to create a plan that includes actionable steps you can start right away. We believe in providing accountability and ensuring that you feel supported throughout your journey. After this initial session, we’ll set up a follow-up schedule tailored to your needs and your insurance coverage, making sure we’re working with what’s best for you.
