Do You Work With the Same Nutritionist Throughout Your Subscription?

You can typically choose to schedule 1:1 conversations with the same nutritionist throughout your subscription. However, you can request a change if you desire one at any point on your health journey with Nutrisense.

Do Nutrisense Nutritionists Receive Ongoing Training and Education?

Yes! Nutrisense nutritionists are passionate about what they do and are committed to constantly growing their knowledge. Not only do our nutritionists actively share cutting-edge knowledge within the team through weekly research reviews and team discussions, but they individually create, deliver, and participate in specialty “Deep Dive” presentations on hot topics in metabolic health and nutrition science.

How Do Nutrisense Nutritionists Stay Up To Date On The Latest Evidence?

Nutrisense nutritionists are required to meet standards of continuing education in order to maintain their credentials from the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists. Beyond this, they actively participate in peer-based research reviews and knowledge sharing as described above.

Is a Nutritionist The Same as a Dietitian?

Registered Dietitians (RDs/RDNs) and Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS) are differentiated by the type of academic and professional requirements they’ve met as well as their credentialing agency. While all dietitians are nutritionists, not all nutritionists are considered dietitians due to the difference in credentialing agencies.

In order to maintain the RD/RDN credential, health professionals must complete regular continuing professional education credits within a designated number of years. A nutritionist is a health professional who applies science-based nutrition principles to guide you toward a healthier lifestyle. All Nutrisense nutritionists are board-certified registered dietitians (RDs/RDNs) and certified nutrition specialists (CNS), possessing some of the most rigorous nutritionist credentials. What Qualifications do Nutrisense Nutritionists Have?

Will My Nutrition Coach Be a Real Human?

Yes! We understand the complexities and nuances of real life and know that one-size-fits-all advice isn’t enough. When you sign up for nutritionist support, you schedule a 1:1 video call with a real human expert you can talk to, a partner on your journey who will provide guidance, accountability, and motivation.

Will My Nutritionist Provide Meal Plans and Educational Resources to Support My Nutrition Goals?

Your nutritionist works with your unique needs. They can help you collaborate on meal planning and ideas or help you tweak your current diet to better meet your goals. This includes offering educational resources, articles, recipes, and personal suggestions.

What if I need to cancel a video call?

To cancel a video call, members can find the reschedule or cancel link in the appointment details email. Cancellations made 24 hours before the appointment are free, but any cancellations within 24 hours will incur a $75 fee. Regardless of coverage, insurance will not cover or reimburse this cancellation fee.

To reschedule a call, members should message their nutritionist in the Nutrisense app. Non-members may reach out to Nutrisense support for all cancellation and rescheduling concerns.
