At Nutrisense, we know that you’re unique. Our nutrition team keeps that in mind, offering several benefits compared to traditional coaching, thanks to our data-driven, custom approach. Did you know? Only 6% of nutritionists who apply make it onto our team. Nutrisense nutritionists not only have professional credentials, they are also glucose and metabolic health experts with experience viewing and analyzing years of glucose data. This affords them a rare perspective among nutrition experts.
Nutrisense’s nutritionists empower you to find the right goals and habits for your unique health journey. To do this, the team leverages your goals and your body's needs, along with information gathered from your symptoms, health history, and meal and activity logs to provide you with insights and feedback. This comprehensive approach allows your nutritionist to provide personalized dietary and lifestyle advice and guide your nutritional journey so it’s tailored to your unique needs.
You can communicate with your Nutrisense nutritionist through video calls, which is typically covered by insurance (if eligible, 95% pay $0 out-of-pocket). If you are eligible for insurance-covered calls, you can get a minimum of three and up to unlimited in-network calls.
Between scheduled calls, you also have the option to communicate with your nutritionist in the app for follow-up questions. Your nutritionist will work with you to help you track your progress and translate data insights into easily digestible information.

Yes! Nutrisense nutritionists are passionate about what they do and are committed to constantly growing their knowledge. Not only do our nutritionists actively share cutting-edge knowledge within the team through weekly research reviews and team discussions, but they individually create, deliver, and participate in specialty “Deep Dive” presentations on hot topics in metabolic health and nutrition science.
Nutrisense nutritionists are required to meet standards of continuing education in order to maintain their credentials from the Commission on Dietetic Registration and the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists. Beyond this, they actively participate in peer-based research reviews and knowledge sharing as described above.
Registered Dietitians (RDs/RDNs) and Certified Nutrition Specialists (CNS) are differentiated by the type of academic and professional requirements they’ve met as well as their credentialing agency. While all dietitians are nutritionists, not all nutritionists are considered dietitians due to the difference in credentialing agencies.
At Nutrisense, our team of expert nutritionists all possess either an RD/RDN or CNS credential to ensure you get the best possible nutrition support. Read our article in the Nutrisense Journal to learn more about it.
A registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is a highly trained and qualified nutrition professional. In order to maintain the RD/RDN credential, health professionals must complete regular continuing professional education credits within a designated number of years. A nutritionist is a health professional who applies science-based nutrition principles to guide you toward a healthier lifestyle. All Nutrisense nutritionists are board-certified registered dietitians (RDs/RDNs) and certified nutrition specialists (CNS), possessing some of the most rigorous nutritionist credentials. Learn more about what a nutritionist does on the Nutrisense Journal.
